Hi again, I know it has been long since I haven’t written on my blog for some reason but hello I am still here! Lucky you are relaxing reading this post . So I am writing this post all about my holidays in somewhere … can you guess where I went … Correct I went to FRANCE! Please read on if you want good idea for your next Winter holidays.
MY HOLIDAY ACTIVITES
1. Seeing family
When we arrived in France we collected our baggages at the airport and we got picked up by my grandparents who then drove us home to our holiday house where we had a picnic (in the house). When we finished our lunch we went to play outside and then surprise my uncle Julien and my aunty Celine arrived just as we were starting our snowman. Oh I forgot to tell you that we went in the mountains for our holidays. Then I saw my aunty Eve and my uncle Nicolas . Finally I saw my other grandparents.
On the first morning at exactly 9am I went to my first skiing lesson and I discovered that the teacher was called Perrine. She was very nice. On the 1st day, she taught us how to stop at the end of a hill by putting the top of your skis inwards. On the 2nd day we learned how to turn which was great fun. On the last 3 days we did the ski tow. On the 3rd day we only did the small ski tow only half way up, on the 4th day we did half way up the small ski tow and then all the way up to the top of the small ski tow and finally on the last day we did half way up the big ski tow and then all the way up the big and the small ski tow.
3. Poney trip
On Thursday, we went to a stable where we did a poney trip around the countryside. Obviously, I was on the biggest horse and I was on a Andulistrian. My cousin was on a Exmoor and my sister was on a Shetland. It was really fun and for the horse lovers that are reading this I would recommend it. We had a good long walk (if you were puling the poney).
4. Ice skating
On the last day, in the afternoon we went ice skating which was a very good idea because it had been years I had been asking my mum and dad if we could go. The place we went was where they held ice hockey matches. It was great fun and because I am a fast learner I quickly learnt how to ice skate. There were even little chairs for the kids could sit on and the adults would push them and the chairs would slide on the ice. I definitely recommend it for ice skaters.
I hope you enjoyed it. Bye bye!
