Today we went to the Alnwick Gardens and Lilidorei. It is like a giant garden with loads of parts to it. Some parts are : the giant orchard, the poison garden, Lilidorei (a huge kids park), a garden and wild flowers area and the grand cascade. In the morning, we visited the more garden part of the gardens ; we started at the giant orchard where there were so many blossom trees all in flower. Then we went to the flowers area where there were so many different types of flowers! In the centre there was also the water source of the ‘Grand Cascade’ which you could follow to the cascade itself and you walked along the side of. At the bottom of the Grand Cascade there were multiple jets and time by time they sprayed them over a path you could walk on.

After lunch, we went to Lilidorei which is the largest play structure in the world! It is in the theme of magic and flowers so their were houses for all magic creatures (hobgoblins, fries, pixies, trolls, goblins and dwarves). We could even look through windows to see what was being ket inside. The main structure, which is called Elfwin Drin, was full of towers stairs, ladders, bridges, slides and secret passages everywhere! Outside of the structure, were sandpits and giant toadstools which you could hang on and spin around. Finally, to finish the day, we went on a tour in the poison garden where we learnt loads of interesting facts on the history of poisonous plants. We also learnt fascinating facts on different types of plants that I never knew were poisonous!
